(66) In the design and planning world of information systems, a few methodologies exist, designated for improving the design and development procedures of computer systems. In reality, a gap exists between the existing methodologies in the academic world and those used in daily practice. The reasons for this gap are various and partly derive from the lack of accordance between the methodology and the existence in the organizations, the conservatism among the developers and the failure to acknowledge the advantage of using the methodology for the improvement of the final product. The aim of this article is to describe the implementation of the OODPM methodology in a large organization that manufactures many information systems for the use of the governmental and business market
